Albufeira

The municipality of Albufeira is divided into 4 parishes:

– Albufeira and Olhos de Água

– Ferreiras

– Guia

– Paderne

It comprises about 30km of coast with beautiful beaches and it’s one of the counties of the country with the largest number of blue flags.

Albufeira also receives major events especially in the summer with many well-known artists performing at live concerts.

The Old Center of Albufeira is the oldest part of the city with some of the houses maintaining their traditional façades.
With a variety of restaurants of distinct specialties and namely the typical Portuguese cuisine highlighting the fish and seafood.

Oura Street (Oura Strip) is quite busy in the height of summer with several shops, bars and restaurants. Nightlife is a constant, with music bars open throughout the night.
